ok so my mom called and asks if I've used her acct she got a tko warning that a third party was using it(she buys me stuff and sometime help with listing for my stepdad)I have both aol and yahoo and can open 2 windows at a time you can't tell the diffrence unless you look real close it's the same sign in page but the web add is a little off so she has to change her password and they have her cc# and it looks just like ebay if she didn't do the live help she wouldn't have a clue

If you use ZoneAlarm firewall, it has a feature that warns if you're directed to a fake eBay site. It's on the Overview, Preferences tab.

One thing they do is they'll use letters for the link that are of a different language. It will look just like a roman (or is it egyptian) letter, but will actually be of another dialect. Then, it will ask you to log in. Once you've logged in, they have you. Something to keep in mind: Ebay/PayPal will never demand that you log in or your account will be suspended/terminated. They say so much. MSN/Hotmail won't either. [img]wink.gif[/img]

just trying to help ok some people here tell you when stuff is over priced or cheap as s**t and it's very nice of them just wanted to let them know

i had an email once that looked like it was from paypal.. but it had a capitol I at the end instead of an l... that was a close shave..
